Tier One Principles
Purpose
We aim to raise the bar for the marketplace expectation of what good design services are. Producing the best, fastest, lowest-risk results is what we are all about. If we fail to do that, we fail not just our customer, but our very mission. Exceeding the expectations of our customers is not enough - it is just the beginning.
Confidence
Our customers can trust that we will do our dead-level best to ensure that they remain successful over the long haul. By assuring our customers with guarantees up front, rapid results thereafter, and the highest levels of ongoing support, we create an important basis of confidence in our mutual success. That basis is invaluable for our customers - it allows them to more effectively take on every other challenge that their business brings.
Skills
There is simply no way to overstate the importance of effective engineering skills in our business. It is important to realize that skills are not achievements, they are assets. Like all assets, skills require maintenance and re-investment over time. The skills that brought us to our present success remain useful, but new ones will always require development to maintain competitive superiority.
Process
If skills are our horsepower, then processes are our roadmap. Repeatability of results is critical to predicting schedules and avoiding errors. Both are absolutely required to meet business commitments. We love our work, but we do it methodically.
Service
Nothing is right if the level of customer service that we provide is wrong. Keeping to the high road, frank communication, and extra effort make the difference between petulant craftsmanship and predictable outcomes for customers.
